Okay, I am going to blab about TAR right now *sheepish grin*.
The concept is simple, race around the world as a pair and aim to be the first at the finishing line. Be careful to complete designated tasks quickly so you aren't elimnated at various stages and are not victims of the non-elimination round where you give up all your possessions, including moeny.
Season 8: Family Edition
There seems to be something about the number 8. Yes, it is a lucky number in Chinese culture, but the American CBS network seems to have picked up on this too. Survivor season 8 was an All Stars special, TAR season 8 is a family special. Anyway, not 11 Teams of 2, or 12 Teams of 2 anymore. Its 10 Teams of 4! With kids and teens too! Lucky dudes (and dudettes). Can't wait.

What can I say? It's had 10 seasons and the 11th is going to start, with filming on the 12th due. It's also one of the most popular reality TV series in America, or so I gather. It's even popular here. The concept is also simple. Displace 16 to 20 Americans in some jungle or on an island and leave them to fight it out. Every 3 days, it's goodbye to someone. When its down to the final 10, combine the two camps that they were previously divided into. The final 9 belong to the jury, it's a guaranteed position. The final 2, will be judged by the jury and the jury has the job of choosing the winner.
Survivor: Guatemala (Season 11)
This is going to be interesting. Quoting CBS, "There won't be one... There'll be two", refering to the twists of the season. This season is shrouded in mystery, very little spoilers (information leaks pertaining to the outcome of the show). Set in scenic Guatemala, the theme for this season is the Mayan Empire of years, decades, centuries gone by. The Mayans often had rituals, which of these will the castaways encounter? Will they be able to work together? Or will they end up bitching about each other, have cat fights?

Well, how does the game go? Get 16 or 18 people who are successful in their careers. Get them to Trump Tower and put them up for 15 weeks. Give them hard, business-oriented tasks to do. One team wins, another loses. Losing team, into the boardroom with the big boss, someone gets fired. Down to two people, major task. The one deemed most successful wins the job which pays $250,000 a year (heh, TT Durai's pay was even MORE than this!).
The Apprentice Season 3
While over in the USA, it is still airing on TV in Singapore. The twist of the season? Half of the candidates graduated with only a diploma from High School (Street Smarts) and the rest with a degree from College or University (Book Smarts). Who will win? College grads or High Schoolers? That is yet to be decided. Keep watching to find out.
