ANTM10 - Back to Basics

America's Next Top Model Cycle 10's promo for the top 14 girls. Who are they? Read below to find out more. What's the promo theme? Its tagged as back to basics. Love the vintage clothes.

We have Aimee, Allison, Amis, Anya, Atalya, Claire, Dominique, Fatima, Katarznya, Kimberly, Lauren, Marvita, Stacy Ann and Whitney. If convention follows, we shall have a new intro sequence and theme. Hope they show the winners segment for this.

ANTM brings cycle 10 back to New York and pushes the number of top girls entering the house to 14. The last cycle based in New York was cycle 3 and the last cycle with a top 14 was cycle 4. The biggest change? Bye bye Twiggy, Hello Paulina Porizkova.

America's Next Top Model Cycle 10 debuts February 20th.

UNESCO World Heritage sites and I Wanna Dos

I was on Wikipedia the other day looking at the pages on Ancient Indian gems - the Taj Mahal and the Qutab Minar (actually, I was originally looking at Bhangarh). And I found out that they were UNESCO World Heritage Sites. And so I wondered what the others are.

So I took a look at the list and realised that I've probably only ever been to 3 or 4 of them. The other being the Greater Blue Mountains Area in Australia. Well, I hope that I can up the count. They don't get placed on the UNESCO World Heritage Site list for no reason. Next up? Probably the Sydney Opera House. I wanna go there for sure. I've seen it but not been in it. And since I will be in Sydney in April, why not?

Which brings me to my list of I wanna dos. What things do I wanna do?

1. Go on a hot air balloon and look around for miles and miles to come.
2. Do the Sydney Harbour Bridge climb.
3. Go bungee jumping.
4. Go to Bhangarh (one of the most haunted areas in India).
5. Go to the Herbert River Falls.
6. Visit more UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
7. Go on a cruise once.
8. Ride on one of those jet boats that takes corners at really high speeds.
9. Snorkel off Pulau Redang.
10. Watch turtles lay eggs in Terengganu.
11. *I can't think of anymore now but I'm sure I have more*

Survivor Half All Stars

The cast of Survivor: Micronesia - Fans versus Favourites has been revealed. 10 ultimate fans against 10 experts. On all fronts of expertise. Fans make up the Airai tribe while the Favourites are the Malakal tribe.

The Airai tribe.
Back: Michael Bortone, Chet Welch, Joel Anderson, Kathleen Sleckman, Erik Reichenbach
Front: Mary Sartain, Tracy Hughes-Wolf, Natalie Bolton, Jason Siska, Alexis Jones

Favourite fans: Alexis, Erik

The Malakal tribe.
Back: Jonathan Penner (Survivor: Cook Islands), Amanda Kimmel (Survivor: China), James Clement (Survivor: China)
Front: Cirie Fields (Survivor: Panama - Exile Island), Eliza Orlins (Survivor: Vanuatu), Jon Dalton (Survivor: Pearl Islands), Parvati Shallow (Survivor: Cook Islands), Ozzy Lusth (Survivor: Cook Islands), Ami Cusack (Survivor: Vanuatu), Yau-Man Chan (Survivor: Fiji)

Palau is not represented as "favourites" Bobby Jon and Stephenie returned in Survivor: Guatemala. Guatemala is not represented as it was surprisingly unpopular or, according to Dalton Ross, "lowly regarded". Pff. Palau I can understand, but Guatemala I do not. Parvati didn't earn her place there first time round. Give me Amy O'Hara anytime. And Brian Corridan over Jon Dalton.
