You're Beautiful

My life is brilliant.
My love is pure.
I saw an angel.
Of that I'm sure.

She smiled at me on the subway.
She was with another man.
But I won't lose no sleep on that,
'Cause I've got a plan.

You're beautiful.
You're beautiful.
You're beautiful, it's true,
I saw your face in a crowded place,
And I don't know what to do,
Cause I'll never be with you.

Yeah, she caught my eye,
As I walked on by.
She could see from my face that I was,
Fucking high,
And I don't think that I'll see her again,
But we shared a moment that will last till the end.

You're beautiful.
You're beautiful.
You're beautiful, it's true.
I saw your face in a crowded place,
And I don't know what to do,
'Cause I'll never be with you.

Lalala lalala lalala lalala laaaaaa

You're beautiful.
You're beautiful.
You're beautiful, it's true.

There must be an angel with a smile on her face,
When she thought up that I should be with you.
But it's time to face the truth,I will never be with you

Boxing Day

Song Of Today: You’re Beautiful [James Blunt]

Well, okay. It may have started as a sh**** day but it got better towards the end. Went out with the café and we all got stuffed. We played par-100 to finish the remaining picnic food. Right, before that, what did we have? Sandwiches with some sandwich spread, Twisties (barbeque and original cheese flavours), some seaweed snack from Hong Kong, Cheddar cheese combos, fried bee hoon, fried kway teow, and losta of drinks and a fudge chocolate cake too.

It was fun to “cake” Yessie in the face. Haha, gotcha! And sitting on the rubbish bags. Haha, fun times guys. Oh and neo-printing later on. I need a haircut, its late and I’m on the bus typing this out. On my way to Holland Village to get the thingies for Aunty Audrey. The cappuccino that is.

I’m tired and I have to do my News Writing assignment before I leave tomorrow. Darn it. Damn Claire! Late into the night again? Right, I’m gonna paste the lyrics of “You’re Beautiful” in here again.

I’m listening to “Fix You” by Coldplay right now though. God, I love long bus rides. And the songs that can go with them too. “You’re Beautiful”…. “Its true”….

Today, I remember all those who were affected by the Tsunami last year. Also, another round of thanks to those who helped raise funds for the victims, especially those close to me. Love you and thanks.

SHP, YT: ILUB! <3
Dak: Had a good Christmas bud? <3
Dame: Hope you had a good day, and didn’t drink too much. ;) <3

Sickening

This is sickening, to feel sick on Christmas weekend. Tired and sick sucks. I don't feel the need to shut eye but my body is telling me otherwise. In the Starbucks at Amcorp Mall right now. I'm beat in everyway possible... Don't ask. I wish, nevermind... Forget it.

Change of plans

Today the phrase "Heads Up and Stay Strong" came back to me. Thanks. SIgh. Well, I'm gonna try. Try as hard as I can but its gonna be hard. Sigh. Two days to Christmas and I am still slaving away. What is this? Hmph. Ah well, crazy week ahead.

24th - Trip to KL
25th - Trip back to SG
26th - Cafe meeting
27th - Trip to KL
28th-30th - Stay at KL
31st - Trip back to SG

See how people are capable of screwing up yer plans because they "want to celebrate Christmas together"? In other words, mom and dad said they would spend Christmas this year back in Singapore instead of in Kuala Lumpur with Nana. So I go and plan out my Christmas around Singapore.

They come back from Australia and then kaboom.
"Are you free on the twenty fourth?"
"I don't have anything on, why?"
"We're going to Malaysia for the weekend."
"I thougth you wanted to celebrate Christmas here?"
...

Damn.

Shout Outs:
SHP, YT: ILUB!
Dak: How's yer Christmas goin? Get back to me sometime aight? Have a good Christmas. <3
Dame: Heya. Haven't seen ya in awhile. Really hope we can catch up sometime. Take care. Have a good Christmas. <3
Fano: Hope you have a good Christmas yer side.
Smack, Fairplay, Mko, Llano: Hey USG pals, hope y'all have yer own good Xmases.
DMC1B05: Merry Christmas everyone. Lets forget e-learning week and go enjoy yerselves aight?
Cafe: See y'all on the 26th.

Teletubbies in Australia

Right now I'm watching the video mom and dad took at Kangaroo Island and Adelaide while in Australia. Nuts! Now, you must understand that since Australia is in the southern hemisphere, their seasons are the other way around. While the US is having their winter, they are having summer. And mom's wearing a freakin sweater!!! In the summer! The penguins are cute. Heheh.

Oh, and they freakin' went on a helicopter ride at the 12 apostles!!! School SUCKS! Bring me to Canada one day. I don't want Dubai no more. =(

Back to the video, those seals are, uhhh, horrendous. Lol. Big, fat lumps on the beach. Oh, it actually looks damp there, mom's hair is wet and there are droplets of water on the camera's lens. Okay, there this one seal. It looks different, like a dog. I like this one. Lol.

Oh, Frederick looks super nerdy. Bro, you need contacts. Maybe I'll sponsor you next time. Anyway, they're in some sort of caves right now.

Now we're alking authentic Australia, Kangaroos! Next time we should try some Kanga meat. =) Wildlife documentary? They're approaching tha Kanga.

Oh dear... My aunt. The one who has cancer, she does look bloated. Poor Aunty Tina. It seems that her cancer is back and she's got pain and has trouble going to the toilet. =( That's so sad. Damn cancer!

Okay, they're trying to get up this rock. They look like teletubbies. =_=" I'm from a family of teletubbies. They found a rock that they can climb into (it looks like a window in the rock and is hollow). SO they're popping out of the window and all, soooooooo teletubby-ish....

Time

They're back and its 10 days to 2006. I like poly yet poly school life sucks. Bleah! Sounds like an oxymoron. I like that its so much more free and we are the ones who decide and hold our education in our hands. I like that we don't have school uniforms or stuff like that. I like the class size and its dynamics. I think that e-learning week sucks. I think our modules this sem suck and I think that some of the teachers are, well, overtly over passionate about stuff.

I have yet to complete any of the e-learning assignments. Damn.

Web Publishing = Flash exercise
Fundamentals of Econs = Online quiz
News Writing = Interview and analysis

Not. A. Single. One. Done. That sounds like a bad track record... =/

Ah well, good to see myself becoming more positive again though. A few peeps are gonna turn 18 soon... =) And L is going to be 19, almost 20!

Reality Rant

Two of the most successful reality TV shows are going strong. Survivor moves into its 12th season in the first quarter of next year and The Amazing Race takes on its 9th installment. This is so cool. =]

TAR1 = 11 teams of 2
TAR2 = 11 teams of 2
TAR3 = 12 teams of 2
TAR4 = 12 teams of 2
TAR5 = 11 teams of 2
TAR6 = 11 teams of 2
TAR7 = 11 teams of 2
TAR8 = 10 families of 4

That's a whole lot of people who go racing around the world! And if you thought that that was many...

Survivor - 16 castaways
Survivor: The Australian Outback - 16 castaways
Survivor: Africa - 16 castaways
Survivor: Marquesas - 16 castaways
Survivor: Thailand - 16 castaways
Survivor: Amazon - 16 castaways
Survivor: Pearl Islands - 16 castaways
Survivor: All Stars - 18 returning castaways
Survivor: Vanuatu - 18 new castaways
Survivor: Palau - 20 new castaways
Survivor: Guatemala - 16 new castaways, 2 returning castaways

Survivor has over a hundred castaways! I think the count, up to Palau, was 150. WIth Guatemala that pushes it to 166 castaways (ie. people to have played the game). And that's excluding returnees from All Stars and Guatemala. Whoooo!

Although facing waning viewership, The Apprentice is proceeding with filming of its 6th season.

The Apprentice 1 = 16 candidates
The Apprentice 2 = 18 candidates
The Apprentice 3 = 18 candidates
The Apprentice 4 = 18 candidates (3 multiple firings)

The Apprentice 5 will be shown in the USA next year. It will feature 18 candidates. The Apprentice 6 is due for filming soon and will be filmed in California and have 16 candidates.

Project Runway is another favourite reality show of mine.
Season 1's candidates: Daniel, Alexandra, Nora, Starr, Wendy, Kara, Jay, Kevin, Austin, Robert, Vanessa, Mario

12 designers, 12 models. Only one will remain "in", 11 others will be "out". Go Kara!

Season 2's designers = Andrae, Chloe, Daniel (returning from season 1), Daniel, Diana, Emmett, Guadalupe (no wonder where I heard this!), Heidi, John, Kara, Kirsten, Marla, Nick, Raymundo, Santino, Zulema

16 designers, 1 big break. Who will make the cut?

Shout Outs:

Damnit

Web Publishing project, gah! Horrendous. I mean, we spent like a freakin 4 hours just getting the TEMPLATE done. And we're not even done yet. Headachous!!! And I still haven't done my e-learning stuff yet. Just too much to do. I wanna revise my econs and I have no time. I feel like using BIG words (you get my drift) but I'm trying not to. Damn, its freaking hard!

This is just crazy sh**... Madness. SP, NEVER have another e-learning week. If it ain't a holiday, we don't want not to come to school. Such crunch time. And yeah, yeah, you say its good cause the working world is like this. Tell you what, we're not yet workign (for some of us) so don't make us feel what working life is like till we get there. I know what its like and I don't particularly think I like it.

I'm really scaring myself with how negative I am getting these days. Sigh. Relax, I can hear Carol's voice saying. Thanks Carol, but I dunno... Too many things... Tomorrow is just going to be such a packed day for e-learning sh**. Sorry, I had to type this out.

I will survive

I'm down to the last $10 for 4 days... Can I survive? Find out, in the next episode of. Wait, of what? Haha, a show called life? That reminds me of the Truman show. Everyone saw what he was doing, like it was a real big drama, only real. They just got people to "act" to be his neighbours and girlfriend for their entertainment. That was incredibly, uhmm, different.

Anyway, today is the sparks party. Cool, the theme is retro and I have nothing retro. Oh goodness.... ANd yes, I finally slept for more than 6 hours. Congratulations to me. I must've been rather tired. And why did I wake up today? Someone from BB called for Frederick. I thought I had overslept or something, lol.

Thanks to those who've been concerned for me:
Uncle Shannon and Aunty Rita
Aunty Nancy
And how can I forget, Alwyn, yes.

I'm doing fine thanks, I can survive on my own.

Happy number 5.

Withdrawal symptoms and a party

No more Survivor: Guatemala. The reality finally hits as tonight is just the reunion. Oh goodness. The cast was a real great one I will say.

Yaxha
Morgan: The magician's helper. Although you didn't last long, you were certainly a character. I didn't expect you to be so good at challenges.
Brianna: I guess you couldn't take the toughness of it. I think it was a learning experience for you though.
Brian: I loved the way you played the game. It was fun to see you strategise. You would've made a good merge castaway.
Amy: Strong woman you are. You had that injured ankle yet you ploughed on and it got you through the game somewhat.
Jamie: Hmmm, your paranoya was interesting.
Gary: Fatherly figure. Haha, you catching Judd at that lie was one of the best moments ever!
Lydia: Go do the pancake motivator! I knew you'd go far. You did a good job for someone who didn't have the physical build.
Rafe: Great manipulating but you lost it at the end releaving Danni from her promise. You were interesting too.
Stephenie: I will commend that you did a good job at getting to the F2 with that target on your back as a returning player.

Nakum
Jim: I think you did well with that hike and all. Wish we could've seen more of you.
Brooke: You got back stabbed didn't ya? Oh well, we'll know that Brooke was out because of Judd. I think you were an interesting difference on the tribe.
Blake: Golden boy! Haha, you talking a lot bout yerself, like whoa. Different indeed.
Margaret: The nurse momma. The tribal council between you and Judd was one of the best this season. Thanks for the good TV. A-D-D!
Brandon: The farmer boy who can cut ropes. It was fun watching someone like you with your serial killer stares, framing experience and the whole darn package. I don't think Survivor has ever casted someone like you before.
Bobby Jon: Congrats on getting to the merge and jury stage. You did better than in Palau.
Judd: Oooh, gorilla guy! Had a nice time with yer howler cousins man? I know you did, man. I think yer one in a million man. Oh, right, yer got a twin, aight man? Eh? Told ya I was aight, so yer two in a million, aight man?
Cindy: Wow, you were given the Jenn edit this season. Interesting to have a zoo keeper compete. That's a new job that a castaway on Survivor has had.
Danni: Winner you! I heart your win. Lol. I just liked ya right from the start.

School's out but work's not. Meeting for IPRA tomorrow. Sigh. Oh well... School sucks as they say. Busy till Christmas.

We had the Christmas party at my place today. I think it was a success. Pizza was good. Game was good. We all had a fun time. Yay. Lol.

Uneventfulness

Hmmm, what did we do today? Oh right, the photo shoot during DVPA, settle our DVPA storyboard and attend IPRA. IPRA sucks I'll say. But, let's not be negative. Came home, played X-box, watched Sponge Bob and was really beat. Took about 40 winks before waking again. A lil netting and then down to econs tutorial #6. IPRA followed. Then more netting. Lol. I had to get the house cleaned up a lil for tomorrow. Clothes are all put away, everything washed up. Just leaving the rubbish to be thrown down the chute.

This is good. 4 days without the rents and I'm still on budget, still have lotsa food left. Now, tomorrow is a big day and yeah, how're we gonna do stuff? I mean, how much will it eat up on my budget and all. Oh well. Tomorrow is tomorrow, lets not worry bout it. I feel like writing a letter to someone. =) I might just do it tonight before I go to bed.

I talked to Kathy awhile ago. Mom and dad went to watch Kong apparently. Enjoying themselves I'm sure. Ah well, today was kinda uneventful. Ciao.

I'm being tortured, stop it please

Amazing Race is making me jealous.... Canada!!! Of all places! Geez... Like, I wanna go there one day. ANd yer showing me images of Montreal and Toronto. Pure TORTURE!!! Mr. Sanjay, I'm jealous of you...........!

Linz Team
Nick: Hahaha, was it you who call Alex fatass?
Megan: The behind the scenes worker.
Alex: I can't tell you and Nick apart. 0_0
Tommy: Yer the only one of the Linz bros who I can identify.

Bransen Team
Elisabeth: Who are you?
Lauren: What's the difference between you and Lindsey? Oh, right, age eh?
Lindsey: Who ARE you?
Wally: I know you! Yer the father, sometime with a bad mood.

Weaver Team
Linda: You shouldn't have given up like that. What an example for yer kids.
Rebecca: Don't complain gal.
Rachel: Judd tells you that you should go to confessions more often.
Rolly: Yer a good guy Rolly. The best of the Weaver clan.

Go Canada! Lol.

I love the CN tower, ahhh... Ava.... One day I will visit ya, haha. Okay, I can't take it anymore.....

Enough of me bemoaning the fact that I can't visit Canada right now. Anyway, yeah. There's a study trip to Dubai in SP. Mom and dad aren't here to sign the form... I wonder if I'll be able to get on the trip since the response is extremely good. If I do go, that'd be the furthest I'd have been from South East Asia. Like, whoa.....

Random rambling:
Sometimes I can't help but just think of what happened. I find myself asking, why. Why did it happen? Why did you have to do that? Questions that probably won't ever be answered... But... The effects are far and wide. Sigh. I dunno, how is it that it affects far and wide? I dunno, I just... Wonder why.

In a nutshell

Sigh. Last week of school, last week of madness. Listening to the Speed Of Sound by Coldplay now. Again, I'm tired on every level imagineable. DVPA, directing. I can do this, I can do this! Thanks to my crew (Carol, Kay Miang, Nad, See Jun, Weijie, Gajan, Zhao Jie, Arisya)! You guys did great today for my dry run. I dunno, did I really appear cool and calm? Cause I was nervous as hell. And, like, the specialist depends on this module solely now. I can do it, I can do it. Thanks to D&D for imparting yer positive views to me. Love ya.

Wednesday, the middle of the week. And before you know it, it is mid semester already. Freshman year is nearly up Jon... Things are only gonna get tougher. There's a lot you wanna achieve too... Eh? Go all out for it. Chase yer dreams. You know its a good one indeed. Sheesh! I've forgotten to ring Uncle Freddy and Elaine, dang! Tomorrow, tomorrow.

Anyway, yeah... Back to now. You can do it, I can do it. Go for it, persevere, push. Be disciplined. Have staying power. Push yourself to the limit and you'll achieve. Go, go, go!

Well, today was fun. Sorta. Went to Holland Vee with Reg and Gajan. Then to the Heeren. Totally blew the whole day then. Hmph. Skipped IDEA module. Attendance for this term is now 96%. So far, I've missed CCC 1 tutorial, NW 1 tutorial, IDEA 1 tutorial. Speaking of NW, we had that freakin test today, instructions were kinda unclear. Sigh........ Hold me.... Now and forever.

-LIVESTRONG!-

Congrats Danni!

The final episode was rather interesting. The treemail and Lydia jumping to conclusions that they'd be celebrating and all, too funny. Lol. And all of them giving that diao (=_=") looks, priceless! Oh, and Rafe's face when he was telling Steph that the Maya had twisted off the chicken's head. Goodness!

The final 4 immunity challenge. That looked challenging. The maze was spectacular indeed. Ahem, of course this does not compare to Harry Potter and I see no reason for comparisson. Survivor is and will be Survivor with its own style. Harry Potter is make believe fiction. ;) Anyway, I liked the pyramid in the middle where they had to place their puzzle pieces. I'm just wondering, did they have to place the puzzle pieces there EACH time after completing a station? Cause if not, they could have very well done 2 or 3 stations at a go and then place the pieces up there.

Then eating the chicken and the thunderstorm that ensued. Hahahaha! The best part was Lydia's "confessional" to Jeff at tribal council. Lol. Danni's and Steph's faces were another priceless moment too.

I liked the sketches of each of the players that they did for the rites of passage. Very nice indeed. And the views of the Mayan pyramid were great too.

Final immunity, a sure test of endurance. Rafe lost concentration and baboom, yer out. Steph couldn't hold it there either. And Danni managed to, yeehaw! The final tribal council where Danni and Steph faced the jury was great too. Judd's questions were weird and he alleged a lot. I think Judd is weird himself. Telling someone to go to confessions, lol. Is Danni even a Catholic? Well done Danni Boatwright! We're proud of ya. All biasedness aside, Steph played a good game too.

Survivor: Panama - Exile Island

16 castaways
A new way of dividing tribes (16 people in 3 tribes)
And at least one person exiled to an island
Survivor: Panama - Exile Island.
Survivor: Panama preview video

In roughly half an hour, the final episode of Survivor: Guatemala - The Maya Empire will conclude. I'm waiting to see the reunion, the maze challenge and the final endurance challenge. I. Can't. Wait. And I know I will not be the only one watching. Woo yeah!

Mom and dad and Frederick are all probably on the plane at the airport right now, waiting to take off soon. I wish I were going away too... To somewhere, like Canada instead though... Sigh. At least I have the house to myself. And the class pot luck on this Friday at my place. I need to schedule my time so that I can fit in Christmas shopping, ticket booking and all the extras. Today is purely TV day. No homework, no nothing. Just Survivor and Project Runway.

Sometimes I really doubt myself. I sound so selfish and all. I should reprimand myself for that. I should think of others. I shouldn't seek or self fulfilment. I am such a sucker at times. One with a bloody face too. Sorry, I needed to get that out. Sigh....

Today is the day

Survivor ends later in the day and, uhm, in 8.5 hours time in the USA. Guatemala that is, not the game. There's still Panama coming up in two to three months.

My predicted boot order:
4th placing: Lydia
3rd placing: Rafe
2nd placing: Stephenie (YUCK!)
1st placing: Danni! (WOOHOO!)

Go Danni! Go Danni! Oh yeah, oh yeah! Sorry, I'm mad. Lol. Anyway, will work to getting an image of the new logo for the upcoming season as soon as it is available. We know the location, we know what to expect. 18 new castaways, 3 tribes, 39 days, 1 survivor! Okay, cue yell now. Roll intro tape. And we're off to a new Survivor season.

Your 7 rumoured cast members:
- Military guy
- Black nurse
- Short guy
- Blonde girl
- Blonde girl with highlights in hair
- Asian guy
- White girl white blonde rasta hairstyle

Yeah, they're saying that the upcoming season is another good one. Cool. Right now my favourite seasons are, in no order:
Guatemala
The Australian Outback
Vanuatu
Pearl Islands

Favourite survivors to date:
Colby
Sandra
Kathy
Ami
Danni

Kill them?:
Rupert
StepOnMe

See Ya

Hmmm, okay. Mom and dad are leaving tomorrow at 5 for the airport which means I might only see them in the morning. Then its 10 days without them (again). They're giving me $219 for those 10 days ($9 remainder for this week, $50 for next week, $50 for meals, $100 for emergency loan, $10 extra). Whooooo. And the house is stocked up with food. Yay. Arrrgh! Forgot to tell 'em to buy spaghetti sauce, damn! Tomorrow morning. Or ask them for money to buy it. I knew there was something I'd forgotten.

Well, not much to say otherwise then.

Gettin' there

Okay, so everyone is confirmed for my DVPA CA except Regina (who I've yet to ask) and the VM role. Hmmm, who shall I get to fill my VM role? Okay, so, like, I guess for the next dry run I will be getting all the people whom I am going to work with for the actual CA to be my crew. Thanks a LOT guys.

I'm getting more comfortable wearing this new ring I've bought. =D I like wearing it. Its something different. Wait till I get it engraved.

This week is totally slave week. Ahhh, got that NW test coming up. Shucks! Homework, homework, homework. Get it done, understand econs. Time yerself, time...

Today was particularly fulfilling, I got L a tag board. Let's see if it takes off. ;) I've a feeling it will. Hahahahaha.

Shout Outs:

Dak: Heya, let me know how yer doin aight?

Bye

Okay, so I've these positions confirmed so far.
Talent: See Jun
Host: Nad
Production Assistant: Gajan
Floor Manager: Arisya
Camera man 2: Zhao Jie

This term I've skipped 2 lessons. I really needed the rest then. So, what's my percentage now? Haha, I'll calculate that later.

Homework this weekend:
NW
IVP
DVPA
IPRA

Awwww.... And I'm feeling so tired too. Bah!
So lets slog away,
At this load of homework,
Cause its in my way,
And I don't wanna do no work.

Okay, that didn't make any sense whatsoever....

Hmmm, I shouldn't let all this get to me and all. I shouldn't, I shouldn't, I shouldn't....

RELAX. Survivor time. Jeff Probst has signed a new contract with CBS till season 16 which will air in 2008.

Episode 13: Big Win, Big Decision, Big Mistake?
Mesh, I'm right and I've won the bet a third time. Haha. Can't wait till that whopper lunch swims my way. Lol.
This was a dang good episode. Basically StepOnMe has been stabbing people in the back several times to get where she is. Jamie. Then Judd. And now Cindy. At least she won immunity once in her two seasons. Hahahahaha. She can't bear to be compared to the likes of Jenn or Lydia can she? Sheesh! Arrogant pig she seems to be.

Episode 14 & finale: Thunder Storms and Sacrifice
The final 4. And the conclusion of a spectacular season. I'm gonna miss Guatemala. Sigh... Panama, come quick! February... Who do I want to win? Lydia or Danni. I want either of them to win. Pretty hard to say what happens in this episode. I forgot to watch the next week's trailer.

Listening to ABBA's Gimme Gimme Gimme right now. That's where Madonna got a certain part for her new song Hung Up.

Beat

I'm dead tired... After blogging I'm going to bed. Well, today in this world...

Directing: It was cool to be the director, let's hope I do well in the CA. =D Oh, dang... Due next week is this mock up of the CA, hafta come up with our own script for a youth programme. Hmmm, anyway, that's next week. Thanks DMC05 for cheering after my director's stint. Ifah, sorry to screw up the 15 seconds. >_< I've been approached for some roles already, yay! I'm Xin Le's production assistant and Nad's vision mixer. Its so cool to play these different roles. Guess today's lesson underscores why I'm in this course. I'm going to go all out to get the specialist! Just two projects away from it. Eh? Uh, Doris, you were supposed to give us feedback on our CA2! Oops. Next week then?

Also played the different roles. Talent (guest), host, camera man 1, camera man 2, floor manager, sound technician and vision mixer. One thing to note, don't put me in front of the camera. I'm a behind the camera person. I'm okay with any roles other than talent and host. So, classmates, if yer looking for people, I'll volunteer for you.

My personal crew:
Production Assistant: Vacant
Sound: I'm thinking Regina
Vision Mixer: Vacant
Camera man 1: I'm thinking Weijie
Camera man 2: Vacant, thinking Gajan
Floor manager: Maybe Arisya
Talent: See Jun? Uh, as.... Stefanie Sun? Fiona Xie?
Host: Confiremed Nad!!!
Auditions to be PA and VM for me start tomorrow fellow DMC05'ers. Lol.

Anyway, that was fun. Of course the other fun was skipping IPRA, hahahaha. I'm dreading tomorrow's Econs though... Shudders. I don't know about production stuff and the questions daunt me.

I'm also feeling rather tired. I'm going to call it an early night. I need to be up early tomorrow to do chores and get ready for school. Tired, tired, tired.... I want sleep. I need sleep. Sleep... Sleep...

Streaking

Quick update before I need to move out again. Just came back because of the clothes, they needed to be put in the drier. Phew! They already stink a bit. Bah, cleaning the house up in stages. Rubbish has been cleared and tonight, the sink will be too. Boiled water just now and am updating quickly.

Streaks: Today was class photo day, DMC1B05 were the black and whites. Top 10 on register white and bottom 10 on register black. I wore the new Ignyte shirt. Thanks for the comments guys, shopping... Haha. And so we were busy streaking our hair with blue and green hair sprays. I've a blue streak on my left side and that's it. Punkish, eh? Nice!

Gifts: Went for the SP web thingy and skipped IPRA (they must've just finished class). What was the gift? An optical mouse, just nice for the laptop. Hmmm... Times a running, in short, the new SP website is nice. Gotta run, updates later.

Running

An appropriate song for this post would be "Running" by No Doubt. Ran after the last train from Pasir Ris station. Ran all the way home from Buona Vista with a small sling bag bumping against me the whole time. Running, running, running. I should go running sometime again. I've put on weight and I need to maintain it at the previous weight. Ah well... I should be able to, if I have the determination that is.

I'm kinda mad at dad a bit. I'm stuck all alone here and Lydia's house needs to be done up on Friday. I'll be in school then. 10-10.30am... And I can't get Mr. Sham to ask him to open the door instead of me. I call ya and you say call Thursday night. What if I can't get him to do it Friday morning? Its too little notice. Ms. Emily ain't free either... Miss school? Crazy! I can't afford to miss Econs tutorial. Next time please have a plan in mind. This is not complaining, this is not grumbling, its an expression of views... Or am I just saying that to make it look like I'm not complaining? Sighhhhhh..... Need ya.

-LIVESTRONG!-

This is a good day

This is cool. I'm getting something like an LOA tomorrow, which means I can skip IPRA! Woohoo!!! Yay, no IPRA tutorial! Why? Cause Ms. Pauline asked me to go for this SP website thingy and so, we're excused after 3 from lessons. Yay! Hahahaha. And the icing on the cake? We get Co-Curricular Activity (CCA) points and GIFTS!!! Yep, gifts, though goodness knows what that means. Thanks Ms. Pauline! Nad, we are SO gonna be happy for no IPRA tomorrow. Haha.

Today feels much better. Thanks for yer "Heads up and stay strong". It really helped man. Thanks. Maybe I could get to know yer buds and you mine, somehow.

Shout Outs:
SHP, YT: LUB! MU!
Dak: Well, hope yer doin okay.
Dame: Hop yer doin good too.
Smack: Hope its not a problem to ya, hope we can get an answer then.

Web Publishing

Yay! I LOVE the WP module. =D
Project Proposal: 80

That's an A and and a B. Hahaha. So cool! Okay, I'm mildly high, somewhere between a high and a normal whatever. Lol. There's only one thing that gets me ever so high... ;)

Never Gone...

Song Of Today: Never Gone [Backstreet Boys]

The things we did, the things we said
Keep coming back to me and make me smile again
You showed me how to face the truth
Everything that's good in me I owe to you

Though the distance that's between us
Now may seem to be too far
It will never seperate us
Deep inside I know you are

Never gone, never far
In my heart is where you are
Always close, everyday
Every step along the way
Even though for now we've gotta say goodbye
I know you will be forever in my life (yeah)
Never gone

No no no
I walk alone these empty streets
There is not a second you're not here with me
The love you gave, the grace you've shown
Will always give me strength and be my cornerstone

(Somehow) Somehow you found a way
To see the best I have in me
As long as time goes on I swear to you that you will be

Never gone, never far
In my heart is where you are
Always close (always close)
Everyday (everyday)
Every step along the way
Even though for now we've gotta say goodbye
I know you will be forever in my life (in my life yeah)

Never gone from me
If there's one thing I believe (I believe)
I will see you somewhere down the road again

Never gone, never far
In my heart is where you are
Always close (always close)
Everyday (everyday)
Every step along the way
Even though for now we've gotta say goodbye (yeah yeah)
I know you will be forever in my life (in my life)

Never gone, never far
In my heart (in my heart is where) is where you are (you are)
Always close, everyday
Every step along the way
Never gone, never far
In my heart is where you are

This song will always be my strength, when I am weak, when I'm tearing, when I'm down, when I'm shakin. "As long as time goes on I swear to you that you will be Never gone, never far In my heart is where you are "... A promise is a promise, now look up.

Heads Up and Stay Strong! Something I've not heard in awhile...

It gets tiring to hear stuff each day and have to put up with it and all... Jokes when sometimes they're insulting, when they're not funny... I don't think I'm stressed, no, I just am making sure that everything is right on target. Lets just say school is tough. Tomorrow is another long day. Should I go home? To what? Its an empty house. Christmas shopping? Bah! I gotta get that card topped up again.

Okay, so now break the cycle of negativity and start afresh. Heads up and stay strong, always. Smile. Always.

Peace.

Shout Outs:
SHP, YT: ILUB, MU...
Dak: Hey, how're ya? Keep me updated aight?
Dame: Yo? Busy? Hope yer alright.
L: Hey cuz, haven't heard from ya in awhile. School not taking its toll on you?

Up,Down

Up and down we go. Today, hmmm, kinda rough round the edges. As in, I can feel up and then down later. Oh well. Christmas spirit boy, Chirstmas spirit!

Smile. Always.

Basically went to town tonight, got irritated by some people, shan't comment. Positive not negative. Its expensive just going to town and coming back. From $5.77 to $2.90 in one night. Tsk, tsk... Oh well....

Thanks to Jon Chan, I can now use the wireless network in school. YAY! More updates later.

Tired? Sorta.

Albums & Songs Of Today: Best Of Blue [Blue], A Rush Of Blood To The Head [Coldplay], Enya Playlist

Today was a cool day. I think it went faster than the days of last week went by. Right now, Enya’s Caribbean Blue is on. I feel like swaying, lol. Heh, anyway, today was good. IVP blog is up. Oh, and the Econs test…

To all who had me in their thoughts, thanks. I found the Econs test easy. I managed to do it! Went through the multiple choice questions (MCQs) and then did the essay questions, went through the MCQs again and found some mistakes, corrected them. I feel good after this test. Also handed in the report to Lu Sia.

Athair Ar Neamh is such a lonely song... Haiz.......

Back to this day in history, well, I went and got that belt. Will be wearing it to school with the jeans. =D Yeehaw! Mom and dad will be going to Cameron Highlands tomorrow, Frederick to camp and I'll be alone at home... Till Friday. Bwaaaaa!!! This is the last week of Survivor: Guatemala! T_T

On Monday the last episode will air. Survivor 12, please come quick!!! Lol. Sigh.... Oh well, I feel so lazy to blog much, so do excuse me.

Happy Birthday Gajan, since its technically 6th December when I post this. Have a good 17th birthday. Aight, now DMC1B05 is all 17! =D

Super Shopping Spree

Songs Of Today: Enya playlist

Today was the Great Super Shopping Day. Went Christmas shopping in town. Yay, tomorrow I'm going to get this blue belt I saw at the WH stores (one in Great World City and another in Takashimaya). Anyway, that's tomorrow, not today. Heh. Today Yessie and I hit town, from Plaza Singapura to Wisma Atria.

Stopped by the Plaza to take a look around. Went to 77th Street. Then headed further up Orchard Road to Wisma Atria. That's where we stopped for awhile and bought some stuff. Continued to Paragon to see if Mark was at work there and to meet Da Jie (Esther). mark wasn't at work there so we met Da Jie, Mels and Sugi. Didn't say much to either of them, talked more to Da Jie. It was more of a Hi-Bye meeting since she needed to rush off to do more shopping. Headed back towards the MRT station with the three of them and that's where we split.

Yessie and I then went to Takashimaya. The shopping bags there are really nice, glad to have one. There's this new "thing" on sale there. They call it Mari Mari Marimo. Basically, its a sphere of algae that grows in Japan. Its said to bring love, wealth, good health or luck to its owner depending on the colour of the jar its sold in I guess. Haha, there's only so much you can do with algae... The colours were pink for love, yellow for luck, red for wealth and blue for health if I recall correctly.

We took 14 back and it stopped right outside the school. =) Lesser need of me to walk then. Actually, the Cafe has come up with a second set of distinctive names for each of the members. Hehs.

Esther = Da Jie (Big Sister), Cupid
Yessita = Mei (Small Sister), Animefreak
Yen Hao (Mark) = Ah Pa (Grandpa), Workaholic
Shu Hui (Bernadette) = Ah Ma (Grandma), Shopping Queen (I'm thinking Shopaholic now)
Jon = Brudder (Brother), Survivorfreak

Ah well, Arisya has set up the IVP blog now. Kudos to you gal. ;) Signing in to check in and all. Aight, better get that done soon then. And tomorrow I've that econs test. Wish me luck!

DnJ forever.

Song Of Today: Athair Ar Neamh [Enya]

OMG, like this song is so soothing. When I listen to it I think of being deserted on a green mountain facing the sea. You MUST listen to it. Its just so stunning. Play this music when yer stressed out. Enya has good music and good vocals too. This sounds very folkish, a beautiful masterpiece!

Athair Ar Neamh MP3 file

And well, I'm putting up a few pictures of DMC1B05 that were taken on that trip to SPH. Enjoy 'em class.

Coming to an end of the season

You Are 19 Years Old

Under 12: You are a kid at heart. You still have an optimistic life view - and you look at the world with awe.

13-19: You are a teenager at heart. You question authority and are still trying to find your place in this world.

20-29: You are a twentysomething at heart. You feel excited about what's to come... love, work, and new experiences.

30-39: You are a thirtysomething at heart. You've had a taste of success and true love, but you want more!

40+: You are a mature adult. You've been through most of the ups and downs of life already. Now you get to sit back and relax.
Hmmmm, I just did this and, what the heck. I'm 17, not 19.... Anyhow, Survivor was cool. It beats me how delusional people can get. If you tell them ON PURPOSE something's on the floor and it actual its above ground (as in, a few feet above the ground), that's called lying isn't it? And yet SOME can say that that isn't lying. *insert rolling eyes here*
Danni: Awesome game play this episode. We're finally shown that yer a smart gal. I like yer hat... =D There also seems to be a new edit about you. No longer the Danni in the minority, can't do anything about it, but rather the Danni who can impact the tribe, shake up things and cause change. I think yer getting a winner's edit. Hmmm.... Final 3 for me, I'm saying yer in the final 3.
Rafe: Wow, you got that steak sandwich. That must've felt good. Yer edit has been the same awhile, steady old Rafe. The Rafenator. I think yer final 4 at least, AT LEAST.
Steph: Old dear Step On Me... You think you deserve to have the family visit again and since yer such a power player you get yer way... Sickening. I think you can easily make the final 4.
Cindy: They didn't tell you about the swing. If you get to the final 2, then you may just get Judd's vote for not voting for him. He seemed really pissed when he left the Tribal Council area. You're still not heavily featured, yer edit has been behind the scenes worker-ish. There hasn't been any change, just that you try harder at the immunities now. I think yer the next to go sadly. If that's so, Danni would be the only remaining original Nakum then.
Lydia: How nice for you to see yer brother after 2 years. Pity that you didn't get the family visit. Edit wise, hmmm, final 4 at least. However, you ARE in a precarious position.
Judd: You didn't lie at all... did you? Pffft! My ass! Geez, yer "incredible". No wonder I wanted you out. Heh, on the upside, thanks for my second betting win. =P I actually have a lot more to say, but I ain't gonna be negative.
Next episode, CBS is prolly just making a big hoo ha about something and playing it up with Step On Me's "Oh my God"s....
Happy birthday to Mr. Er! Its December the third already. ;)
-LIVESTRONG!-

Calm and composed

DOVER, Singapore - The episode will be filled with emotion as family member, whom the castaways have not seen for 30 odd days meet face-to-face again for a short reunion. Sources also confirm speculation that Judd Sergent, the hotel doorman from New Jersey, would be booted in a colourful tribal council.

Haha, this new style I'm trying is nuts... Anyway, listening to "Ancient Voices of the Australian Outback (Live)". Vocals are good. Different, not your usual oway-oy-oy-oy-eyah... This was the one from the Survivor: Australian Outback season finale. This just brings back memories of that season, and dreams... Nevermind, one day.........

School, NW was sleepy. Econs was electrifying, in the sense that everyone was on edge since there was a severe lack of willing volunteers and no one would know if Lu Sia would pick you to answer. I laid low. There was a certain lacklusterness about the day's classes. Pauline was also trying to call me and get me. I was in lessons. She said she called home and mom got worried that a lecturer was calling and couldn't find me.

This has been a hard and very long week. School's just a madtown everyday. Work is getting in, projects and assessments. And Christmas is drawing near. While others are on holiday, enjoying themselves, Poly students slave away at projects and deadlines. Bottom line: I like the American/Canadian system of starting the academic year in June better than the Asian model of in January.

Why? Look at our class. We're having gift exchanges and stuff like that. You don't get that in Secondary School and JCs and all. There's just so much more you can do with your class festival time. I'm pro America and Canada, don't forget. Okay, so I'm biased? And that's what a journalist can't afford to be, so goodbye journalism. =D

Is the stress seemingly getting to me? 0_0

Wishlist this December month:
To sit down in front of a TV... And watch past episodes of Survivor. There's more to add, but, nevermind....

23 days more to Christmas day. Merry Christmas everyone.

200th

Today is a funny kind of day. Shi Hao (Osh) crashed the econs lecture, he became a friend of Alison and Regina since he's in the same GEM class. So, he knows See Jun, Ally and Reg now. Haha. Small world. Speak of the devil! On the way home bumped into Shwee on the bus home. Haha.

Okay, so congratulate me. This is my 200th post and in 5 days time, this blog is 6 months old. Wow.

Hmmm, school.
We discussed IPRA and IDEA during the IPRA tutorial, haha. Good at multi-tasking eh? IPRA, surprisingly, wasn't that all boring today. I still think Andrew takes too long to go through all the questions. Bah!

Okay, so I need to plan things out. DVPA needs to be done up. WP, we'd better get started on it a bit. CCC, needa contact Joannah and Alvin about that. IDEA, get that s*** done. IPRA, time to bring out the whip! Get off ours asses and get to work. Let's try a mini discussion tomorrow.

Christmas is just 24 days away! DMC05 has picked up the spirit too. With out of tune Christmas carols ringing out in between classes, haha! And Apple Alfonso Woo Zhao Jie's excellent suggestion of a gift exchange. Superb! This year seems especially Chirstmassy, I've no idea why.

Anyway, school was fun today. I forgot to add that the DVPA lesson was especially hands on. Camera, floor managerial signs, director's chair, vision mixers. Whoooo! I think DVPA, IVP and WP are the three best modules of those this sem. NW sucks, IDEA is stupid, FUNE is manageable, IPRA bores us. I shan't be negative though. School was a good day then.

Crush Time

Ahh, the rest today was good. =)
I feel great now. Okay, so we handed in our WP proposal. Now we need to get started on actually building the web site. Sigh Projects, projects, projects. Oh no, we haven't even discussed DVPA.

Projects going on now:
IDEA - The first part is due next week complete with power point I guess
IVP - Write up is due in week 7 (extra marks if you hand up next week, week 6), blog due next week
DVPA - Start thinking of your script for CA1 (Doris wants us to have an idea tomorrow)
WP - Start doing your website
CCC - Start working on your project
IPRA - I guess we'll be briefed tomorrow, due in 2 weeks (week 7)

Due dates:
IDEA - Part 1 next Tuesday
IVP - Write up next Monday, or Monday following week; blog next Monday
DVPA - Next term (includes script writing, editing, acting, directing), 5 weeks time
WP - Next term, 5 weeks time
CCC - Next term, 5 weeks time
IPRA - Thursday, 2 weeks time

Okay, better not stress myself out over all this. Already things are getting beserk. L says that this is a taste of working life. True. And it sucks. Heh. Tomorrow there's a two hour break. I think we need to start IDEA. Can I get all of them to sit down and discuss something? They put my name down as group leader, bah! However, on a lighter note, I think I'm handling all this well. I'm not buckling like I did last sem. =) Right Carol? Not so kan cheong anymore. Haha. That's good. Breathe deep.

Now, lets forget school and everything associated with projects. I've just been looking at some renditions for the upcoming Circle MRT line here. Awesome! Bishan is a huge construction project. They're practically rebuilding the original station while its still in operation.

What're they doing? They're constructing a new platform for the North South Line in front of Junction 8. It will be connected at platform level (I think) to the mall. So that will be the platform towards Orchard and Marina Bay. I guess they'll seal off that from the original station's platform then. Nice. Its about time, the platform serving both directions is an itty bit too small, what more when the station becomes an interchange?

Buona Vista is getting messy. They're going to divert the road soon. They've put up information panels on the bridge that connects the station concourse across the road. There's a picture of the new train there and it looks cool. Same design as the NEL trains, but with more windows. Images copyright of Ignoramus.

Sorry for the raving and ranting, but at least I feel better now.
