Annoyingest thing

Post title is quoted from Judd "Big mouth Juddhead" Sergeant off Survivor: Guatemala. He was talking about being awakened by the howler monkey's call (yeah man, you Gorilla can't stand yer own monkey kind man!). :P

Anyway, was just banging out this email to an aunt in Australia when my fingers hit "ctrl" and some other key and the whole email window closes. Damn. Its annoying. I spent at least 10 minutes typing non-stop and the thing is gone without any record now. Gah. I'll send it again in the morning. And it was so close to being completed too. Just great eh?

PS: Sorry no shout outs so far, dunno what to say if I did have 'em. Aight, here's a general one for shout out sakes, spread the love.

Boredom versus non-boredom

Song of today: Sweet Dreams [Eurythmics; The Apprentice: Martha Stewart theme]

Wow, lotsa stuff goin' on.

GEM (General Elective Module) for Semester 2:
Cross Cultural Communication: Accents & Slang
Wednesdays
1300-1500

My brother sprained his wrist on the exercise bike yesterday. 0_0 Like, how DO you sprain yer wrist on an exercise bike? Lol. He got a day off from school cause mom wants her baby to rest. It may sound as though I am jealous, heck not! I just think she and dad baby him too much. Come on, he's nearly 14 and he's not allowed to cook his own meals? I was a whole lot more independant at his age for goodness' sake! I'm fighting for him a lot more these days, heh.

Boredom, or not? For me these holidays have been fun. Talked to Mesh and WJ today, apparently these holidays have been boring, sorta. And like they go out more than me? Whoa. I'm contented with what I do. =D And considering I stay home almost everyday, hmmm... The simplicities of life. Heheh.

TAR8, it has been goin' good so far. So glad they finally left the USA behind and got to Panama. Buh bye USA. That made it more like a race, more like the other seasons of TAR. I'm not disputing the USA legs were racing in the purest form, but, it kinda got boring after awhile... No bunching for "real" racing when you gotta beat the other team.

Speaking of Panama, the Survivor 12 castaways are supposed to depart for Panama City today. Pearl Islands, here we come. And I hope we get a lot of spoilers this season! I miss 'em spoilers. Lol. Just hope its not a reality TV star edition, a celebrity edition. Obviously pre-mergies is out, since its not a previous castaway edition. Oh well, give 'em pre-mergies a second chance CBS! ;)

Panama, here we come!

Thanks to those who've shared with me their views. Thanks most of all to the calmer. I owe you all. To the "calmer", yer voice of reason is a strong point. Thanks for helping me calm down. Also thanks to Mesh for listening to me, heheh.

Wow, survivor has ousted 7 people already. When is the merge? Hmmm.
Twist #1: Bring back Bobby Jon and Stephenie from Palau to play again
Twist #2: Tribal mix up with uneven numbers on episode 4
Twist #3: Double tribal council in episode 6

What else? Uninvited tribe visit in episode 7? Fake merge? No merge?
Danni - I have a feeling she will go far. Unbelievably thin, she may been seen as a non-threat and a late pick for the boot. She may have alliances and I want to see more of her interactions with the others, so far, all we've seen is about her calling Gary out on his ex-job. I think there's more to her than that and her edit so far leads me to believe she's in the game for awhile more at least. Come on Danni, win this, my pick'em game depends on you!
Gary - You make good TV with your lying. Hahahaha, Brian said in the post game interview everyone knew you were ex-NFL, yet you lie that yer a landscape architect and DENY your NFL days. That's whacked! And Brian mentioned that it didn't matter you were ex-NFL. It may hurt you hough, since they know you were ex-NFL and held back during challenges... I see you pre-jury.
Amy - Talk about courage! And determination. Goin' on that ankle of yours, WOW! Like, it got bruck once and now its bruck again'. And yer still on it. Haha, excuse my purposely typing with misspellings. But sad to say, I see you as pre-jury too. You fight hard though.
Brandon - I figure yer gonna be in for awhile at least, since ye aren't featured so much at this time. Yer physically fit, got a lot of strength in ya. Haven't seen much of ye, alliance wise, 'cept that you, BJ, Danni have something goin'. You wanted to keep Blake, but Danni and BJ let go. Yer a mystery, Brandon.
Bobby Jon - Well, you survived this long, being a second chancee and all, y'know what I mean? I see you jury, early jury. Something doesn't go right to make you go further. But can't complain now can you? I mean, ye did better than yer Palau standing. Guess you can complain about Stephenie and her comments eh? Ah, she's jealous of ya, that she is.

Stephenie - Thanks goodness you stopped complaining somewhat. Peace finally reigns in Guatemala. You have been given a very BAD edit thus far, always whining and complaining with a NEGATIVE note. I think you have the ability to go far, keeping yer negativeness to confessionals. Yer tribesmates don't suffer, but WE do Steph, yes, us viewers. Have you ever considered that? Nevertheless, I see you getting a better edit in the merge. You do well too, late jury at least.
Judd - Oy! Gorilla man, y'know what I mean man, yeah man. Man! Can you stop sayin' man? Oh man. See what ye did to me man. I tell you, man, I hate yer man comments, y'know man? I think ye need some people skills man, like learn to not offend people man. Eh, man? I see ya mid-jury man. Y'know man? I don't liek you, man.
Rafe - Hmmm, okay. Blabber mouth gave ya the immunity. You didn't win it yerself. Nevertheless, we haven't seen much of yer strategising. All hidden eh? Damn those CBS editors. Lol. I think you need to work on winning some challenges yerself. Maybe after the merge when you are like fed with that merge feast they always have. I see you late jury.
Lydia - I loved the pancake. Sure, you are a motivator. I like yer spirit and guts. ;) Just fly low, like Sandra did. Get others to vote out others, target others and not you. I think you can go far that way. I see you late jury, if not creeping the way to the final 2. If you win, that's like whoa. Cause we've never had a person like ya win. Keep to the fnal 4 at least, please, my pick'em points also depend on you as much as they do Danni.
Jamie - You, hmmm, you don't strike me as an all out player. I mean, something's missin'. I dunno what it is, but you don't make me like you very much. Is it yer personality? Whatever it is, if I am just a viewer, I wonder what it must be like for yer tribesmates. I see you early jury.
Cindy - Ah, the animal lovah! Cindee!!! Haven't seen much of ya so I think you'll go far in the game. Late jury for me. Yer good with yer brains and don't let Juddhead get to you. Ye keep yer mouth shut when appropriate and open when needed. Smart gal. Yer rank has gotten further in my view. Keep at it aight? Stay low.

RC win: Yaxha
IC win: Nakum
TC: Yaxha

On another note, insider info says that S12 is Survivor: Pearl Islands X 3. Yup, back to Panama. Ideas?
Idea #1: Former reality stars (like peopel from TAR, Apprentice, Fear Factor, AI, etc)
Idea #2: Family members of survivors in the F6 (Like Shii Ann's mom, Eliza's mom, Thunder D, Katie's brother-in-law, Jenn's sister, Sandra's hubby, etc)

Some spoiler info:
- NO ex-castaways this season
- We apparently know some of the cast already (as in, we've heard of/seen them before)

Rubbishing

What is but a memory? Of times ago. Of past hurts. Of deception, anger and hateful words. I've dug it all up. Oh well. Get over it and move on, the past is the past. What do I mean? I'm talking about an ill fated game, where some people got hurt because of what others had done. Sure, we've all moved on from there, but memories will never be erased. Now add in my penchant for videos and everything comes up. I don't think I'll be able to fully explain it here, but, it just made me appreciate everything.

Outbursts, over-reactions. Yes. Should I have lost my mind like yesterday? No. Hot headedness. Losing your cool. But things I never knew I have now considered. What is true, is true. You know it, I know it.

"Love is patient,
Love is kind,
It does not envy.
It does not boast,
It is not proud.
It is not rude,
It is not self-seeking,
It is not easily angered,
It keeps norecords of wrongs."
~ 1 Corinthians 13:4-5

I will let it rest as this.

Annoyed

Just keep the F out of my life! Yes, out! I don't need any freakin advice from you. My life, the way I want it. You are just, I cannot describe it. Just F off. That's only what I can say.

1 week more

Survivor + Survivor: Vanuatu + Survivor: Guatemala + Survivor: Marquesas + Survivor: Thailand + Survivor: All Stars + Survivor: Palau + Survivor: Amazon themes =
Survivor Locales
*Not the best combo ever, but, well, did my best I guess

What do I like about that video? Uhm, mostly the transitions.
Like the Borneo -> Vanuatu one, then the Guatemala -> Marquesas. Those are kinda the best two transitions, audio-wise.

Am I a nut for videos? Okay, so scold me. Heheh. Oh well...

Today, day of rest. Slow and easy, free and easy. Yeah! Last week of holidays, so I better make the most of it. =D Updates later.

Muddled

Song of today: Never Gone [Backstreet Boys]

Another day gone, one week till school reopens. Goodbye DMC1A05, hello DMC1B05. Hmm... Half of the freshie year gone, like, wow.

Aight, what was I thinking of blogging about? Uh... See, its the memory loss again. Dammit, lol. I still can'tremember after 5 minutes... 0_0 Oh well, let's move on.

Next movie I wanna watch: Doom (3 November)
Book NOT to read: Dragon in the water.
- This book sucks so horribly
- Author is supposed award winner too
- The plot is poor and stupid

Oh, now I remember. I felt so lost today, I left my LIVESTRONG wristband at home since mom was hustling us all out of the house. Sigh. It means a lot, that band.

Guess I'll update in the morning when I can think clearer. Night.

Movie Mania

Here's some movies along with their synopsis from the GV website.

Flight Plan

Flying at 40,000 feet in a cavernous, state-of-the-art 474 aircraft, Kyle Pratt (FOSTER) faces every mother's worst nightmare when her six year-old daughter, Julia, vanishes without a trace mid-flight from Berlin to New York. Already emotionally devastated by the unexpected death of her husband, Kyle desperately struggles to prove her sanity to the disbelieving flight crew and passengers while facing the very real possibility that she may be losing her mind. While neither Captain Rich (SEAN BEAN), nor Air Marshal Gene Carson (PETER SARSGAARD) want to doubt the bereaved widow, all evidence indicates that her daughter was never on board resulting in paranoia and doubt among the passengers and crew of the plane. Finding herself desperately alone, Kyle can only rely on her own wits to solve the mystery and save her daughter.

Skeleton Key

After New Orleans hospice worker Caroline (Kate Hudson) answers a help wanted ad, she finds herself working as the live-in caretaker of Ben Devereaux (John Hurt), a stroke victim who has lost his ability to speak. Ben's wife, Violet (Gena Rowlands), presents Caroline with a skeleton key to open any door in the house--with the exception of one, which she claims she has never been able to open. But curiosity gets the best of her, and Caroline opens the door to find a wealth of materials representing the old house's history of hoodoo, an ancient form of folk magic. She soon discovers that the house harbors a dark secret--one that Violet knows more about than she first admits.

Songs

Ever wondered why songs can be therapeutic? Wait, is that even the correct spelling? I know, my spelling sucks. Anyway, back to songs and their ability to change yer mood. Reflections

Song of today: All For You [Our Lady Peace]

I must have a penchant for loud songs these days. Hmm....

All For You
A suburban man at my door
But I don’t think
I’ll let him in
He wants discipline and control over the way I live
He wants the best for me
An old school philosophy
So I can’t turn my back on him
He's apart of me
He’d buy me anything
But I just need a friend

It’s all for you
You’ve got me where you want
It’s all for you
Just stop breaking my heart
You’re the blood I’m the seed and
You’re all that I need
You’ve got me where you want
It’s all for you
You’ve got me, oh you've got me

Jack Kerouac on the road
And in my head I need relevance, intelligence
A new tattoo and a lot more sex
Broken families are the new enemies
And you will not make up for this
This suburban man, he wants discipline
But I just need a friend

If there was a person who could fix it all, they have. Thank you angel.

I won't ever know how many people read my stories exactly, will I? Only those that respond with posts I know read Super Squad. Oh well...
Mesh, I need you to help me. Anytime I am lagging, please push me to write more. I just feel like I can't let everyone who has read it for 12 chapters down. I must push on. Come on, why'm I bein' so lazy. Sigh. This is a good exercise for me, jump right back into writing it. I can do it. I will do it. And this book will DEFINITELY be dedicated to my Team 3-D. The heroes in my life, Super Squad is for you.

Storm of thoughts

Song of today: Not Enough [Our Lady Peace]

Hmmm, earlier on I was feeling kinda poetic. Wonder what I can come up with at this hour at this time...

I feel bad about myself right now, I feel lousy. I feel like I've betrayed. Sigh. I need to get over it.

The song selection for today... OLP's Not Enough, slow, sad song. I dunno, I guess certain days I like these kinda songs. Makes me reflect. And I needa do that now.

Not Enough
There’s nothing you can say
Nothing you can do
Nothing in between
You know the truth
Nothing left to face
Nothing left to lose
Nothing takes your place

When they say you're not that strong
Well you're not that weak
It’s not your fault
When you climb up to that hill
Up to your place
I hope you're well
There’s nothing left to prove
Nothing I won't do
Nothing like the pain I feel for you
Nothing left to hide
Nothing left to fear
I am always here

What you want
What you lost
What you had
What is gone is over
What you've got
What you love
What you need is real
If it's not enough
It’s not enough
It’s not enough
I’m sorry
If it's not enough
It’s not enough

*Mom don't like this song, but, oh well, I like it so...

Everyday you're by my side,
Though the distance may be far and wide,
You've stuck by me in every way,
How can I thank you, I cannot repay.

Yer an awesome, awesome friend,
Hope this friendship will never end,
In my heart you are to stay,
I want it to remain that way.

~Special Poem for special friends

I kinda like that poem. :D Doncha?

I face short-term memory loss these few days. Its sad. But I remembered what I wanted to talk about on here today. University. Yeah. My dream would be to go to Canada or as an alternative, Australia. Mom and dad have been talking of locally (NTU and NUS). I think my dream will always just be that - a dream. Never a reality. Sigh.... They always say aim high don't they? What's the use if you get dissapointed in the end? Sorry, I'm just questioning, not relating it to anything in particular. I'm not sayin' it ain't good to shoot high, it is. But you have to meet that target too. Or am I just bein' confused and takin' that whole thing outta context? =/

Skeleton Key

Today I went out with Antonius to Jurong Point. Caught Skeleton Key. It was okay, I'd rather spend money on Flight Plan though. I dunno, I feel like too much black magic in that movie. 0_0

What was the relevance of the title to the story line? Was it that the Skeleton Key opened not only physical doors but the spiritual ones as well? And Antonius, never, NEVER ever try that conjourer or whatever. You NEVER know what can go wrong when you deal with black magic. Yeah, chalk, blood and sulphur... You know the ingredients, but DON'T ever try it.

Added a few of 'em to Friendster. Wrote Sugi a testi and that started the random testi act. Haha. Da Jie, what is all this about plotting random testimonials? That takes the randomness out of it. Give it your all. Don't be discouraged with yer results if yer not happy with them. Aight? Y'all promise me?

-LIVESTRONG!-

Barbeque

Song of today: In My Place [Coldplay]

Haha, the title of this post reminds me of the days under Ms. Wee's English lessons. Lol.

"Joy to the world,
Ms. Wee is dead,
We barbequed her head,
What happened to her body?
We flushed it down the potty,
And round and round it goes,
And round and round it goes,
And round, and round, and round it goes."
~Sriram Pillai

Self-explanatory and I needn't say more.

Aight, the class barbeque. Area C, pit 14. Yep. That's where we had the barbeque. Anyway, it was raining... And raining... And raining. BUT it stopped soon after. =D Haha, cool right? It was wet though, sigh. And yep, we had to wait for the lighter before we could start. The fire started about like, 7pm (my guess)? Ms. Chng (Suan), was there too. She brought a LOT of chips with her. Thank you.

As expected, the fire didn't flame too well. Heheh. And we couldn't really cook the stuff. Heh, spent more time on fixing the fire than fixing the food. Serious. Oh, and the alcohol. Reg took to it indeed. And they were passing it around, Absolut Vodka. I didn't take any, didn't wanna.

Luckily Arisya came with her life-saver of fried bee hoon. FOOD! Haha. Yeah, I think it got demolished pretty fast. Towards the end of my stay, somehow, Dione was on the line and we all yelled "Hello"s to her. Hi Dione. Gajan and Reg got drunk. Yes, they got drunk. Oh well, the Ruffles' Cheddar & Sour Cream chips are THE BEST ever! Go get 'em. I still love Lays though. ;)

Happy Birthday to Nicole's brother.

Dessert: Apple and Banana crumble with ice-cream and caramel sauce.

After we demolished the crumbles. Haha. Are we under-fed or something?

Story:

[CONTINUED FROM PART I]

Haha. So then after our main courses, we ordered dessert. Ice-cream!!! Apple crumble and Banana crumble with ice-cream and caramel sauce with apple and banana slices served on a hot plate. Oh my gosh! Delicious!!! We like got through the two desserts in like under 10 minutes. I personally like the banana crumble better cause its like sweeter. To some friends (whom I have mentioned to ya already), I'll buy these for ya next time. Yeah, so after that we had to sort out payment. Heheh. And walked to the taxi stand where we started our goodbyes.

Didn't sleep well last night either, kept waking up. What's wrong? Is there something wrong? Shucks. =S Sigh. Beat this week. Tiring. Need ta rest I guess. Pissed

Hmmm, pissed by my rents today.
1) Coins
2)"Obsession"

Coins:
Wah piang! Damn pai seh (embarrased) about this "issue". See, they rushed back home from church just so that they could watch their F1 race (Heh, dad even called it boring after that *insert roll eyes here*). Fine. And then they ordered KFC home delivery for lunch. Right, since I'm not a fan and was "free", they asked me to go down and pay the delivery guy and get the food. And they gave half the money in COINS. COINS! Get the heck outta my sight man! Who the heck pays $14 in coins? The other half was in notes. And the delivery guy was like "Oh my God!" Indeed, chicken mcnuggets!!! (I think that was like swearing, I mean, my chicken mcnuggets) I appologised to the guy for my rent's fetish of getting rid of coins.

"Obsession":
You like F1, I like Survivor. That's that. And it so happens I like videos and fiddling with media technology. So, does it matter if I spend most of the afternoon doing something related to both? No right? I'm even gonna be using editting software next semester, starting end of this month, so what's to complain about? Like, I was even doing the video for Aunty Dah too. least you can do is thank me for actually taking the trouble to do it right? God! Arrrgh.

Sorry to those who read, needed to get that out once and for all. Will update the cafe pictures in my next post hopefully.

Song of today: Never Gone [Backstreet Boys]

Aight yo. Today, its all about sports. :D Heheh.

Soccer
1) What's happening to the reds? Their standard seems to be going down, aww man. Come on you reds!
2) Chelsea, woohoo! Lookin' good team. I may be a fan yet (heheheh, sorry Boner)

NFL
1) Man, I miss all the fun action. I'd like to see the NFL. On ESPN?

NHL
1) This has to be the dissapointment of the century. NHL!!! I would die to see this. Hmmm, maybe get Ava to tape it for me? Oh bother. Bummer. Nevermind, one of my goals then. ;) Watch the NHL. I love hockey.

Haha, now didn't expect that from me did y'all? Lol. Yes, I may seem the bookworm type, but I don't mind sports either. Don't forget that I run. ;) I dunno, today seems like the day for listing, lol. I was just thinking of who I consider my heroes.

That one is simple. Team 3-D, my pack of 3 heroes.
1) D1 - She is an awesome lady, excellent role model. Nurturing, supportive. She's always there with some advice if you need it or not. Never afriad to hold back and tell you what's wrong or if you are doing wrong. Thanks.

2) D2 - One heck of a person to know and I am glad I know him. :D His attitude is always positive, outlook on life, whoa! He has a spirit of perseverance too and always looks out for others. Also gives good sound advice. Thanks dude.

3) D3 - The special "D". Special indeed. Passionate about a lot of stuff, a friend you can count on. He's always there when you need him, when yer down, when yer up. He's caring indeed. Always is there, always is there. Thanks angel.

Hmmm, I think I'm rambling too much already. Lol. Save the Cafe Swensen's meet up and pictures for later. Out!

Videos again

Sigh, feel a bit better and more calm now, that's for sure.

Guatemala intro video + Guatemala theme extended + some video editting =
Alternate Guatemala intro

Haha, sounds good to me. :D I did it, yeah, I like the new edge now.

Sigh. IMUB, IMU... Sometimes there's so much you can appreciate...
"Everyday,
Every night,
I think of it this way,
We're together, tight."

Shout outs:
Dak: Have a good weekend bud, aight? Paths will cross when the time's right. Sleep well.

Deep thinker

Quote for today: You and I, we're two, and two is a prime number, so we're good.

I dunno, today its kinda, I dunno... Let me make this statement: I hate Canada-haters! *insert evil face here*

That just had to come out. I've seen enough of the Canada-hate. Its sickening and, ah, just gives me a bad mood. *insert some bad word* it!

Whatever. I don't feel like writing anymore for now.

Shout outs:
Dame: Hope you had a good movie.

Aftermath

Song of the day: Ancient Voices (Various seasons) [Russ Landau]

Hooyah! Today is the dinner date for the Café at Swensen’s. One of the rare times where we are able to all meet up during the week. Dinner is going to be awesome indeed. Ice-cream, ice-cream. Aight, I shall try to keep an empty stomach till then. Coolness! Heheh.

And then there’s survivor to look forward to. I am in a good mood today, heheh. Got a lot to be thankful for indeed. The holidays have been good so far, almost half gone already. Only two weeks, so far, but its felt like so much more. Why? No holiday assignments that’s why! Look at it, it’s a time we can really relax, not having to worry about anything. DMC05, I finally relaxed, lol. I dunno, a lot of people have called this holiday bored.

Perspective? I haven’t felt that it’s bored. Fine, you can argue I went out this whole week, but I had fun right? And I stayed home all last week. Its interesting how perception can affect, even change how we view things eh? Ah, why am I talking ICP anyway? Its over. Haha.

Why’m I so high today? 0_0 Oh yeah, I altered a video. Haha, that’s a possible reason why. Try playing the original Guatemala theme with the extended version, its powerful. Very interesting indeed. The video sounds good with it like that too. Wind pipe, vocals, drums, oooh. Hard to describe, you gotta hear it for yerself to fully comprehend it.

Ah, 1½ hours to Guatemala. Cannot wait! Lol. Crocs, Cowboys and City Slickers. Sounds good. Oh, next week its Big Ball, Big Mouth, Big Trouble. Episode 7 is Surprise Enemy Visit. Merge isn’t too far away either. Lalalalalala. Lol. I am high, I told you. Generally, a feel good feeling right now. Heh.

Oh, balloons. Heheheh. Evil me has come up with some nasty idea involving balloons. I hope this one works out, its plain evil. Wahahahahaha. Oh man, I am dying keeping this one to myself at the moment. Need to share it, but, I’ll wait to the “big reveal”. Heheh.

Aight, met with the Cafe, cool yeah. It was fun indeed. Lotsa pictures of food, heheh. Moving on, ah, nevermind, another post then, less confusing.

Shout outs:
Dak: Yowza. How ya doin? Go prankin yo!
Dame: Heheh, good to hear yer doin good and all. Go watch Flight Plan. Its really, really good. Big reveal eh? Big reveal. Lol. Just to let ya know, I am evil, lol.
L: Cuz, like how long has it been since I’ve heard from ya you busy gal. Heh.
Café: Yay, we’re having a reunion. Oh coolness!

Busy week

Hey all, this week I seem to be going out everyday, heh. Busy man.
Tuesday - Marina Bay with Chi Alpha NP and SP people
Wednesday - Committee meeting for DMC05 BBQ
Thursday - Mom's birthday lunch
Friday - Cafe reunion dinner at swensen's (tenative)

Phew! Hmm, I wanna shout out to some peeps before I get a move on.
Nic: Rest well gal and take care. Eat Vitamin C aight? Must be able to enjoy yer hols and the BBQ
Canadian Bacon: Hey, you take care too aight? Rest lots, eat loads of Vitamin C, get that cold over. Fruits, juice, whatever helps ya! You'll be back as good as new in no time.

Aight, back to yesterday. It was another long day, met ZL, WJ, Gajan, Arisya and Ifah at City Hall. For once, the lateness wasn't that "late" after all. Not more than 15 minutes which was manageable. Uhm, yup, they all got their key chains from me. =D

It was fun. We discussed and discussed and called some people. I had the "honour" of calling up Suan, who, will be coming to the BBQ and bringing some tidbits. Haha. And also called Kamesh. Lookin cool yo.

Then we all went to Giant at Marina Square. Was cool, they actually have juice drinks for like $1 (don't fall for the gimmick that $0.99 is cheaper than $1, its just $0.01 difference!). Yep, and like we just had a fun time and went to LJS after that. At the train station, there was the decision time when deciding, North-South route (red line detour) or East-West route (green line direct). ZL said, "Don't follow WJ, he's STUPID!" I found that funny. WJ, not to tarnish yer name lah, just put there for fun, heheh. I took the direct line.

And for some absurd reason, I kept thinking yesterday was actually today. *insert rolling eyes here*

Lastly, happy birthday to my mom.

Shout outs:
Dak: Yo, have an awesome day aight?
Dame: Keeping up man? Get enough rest aight, I think you need it, heheh. You've got a new full time job at hand.
L: No updates???

Busy week

Haiz... Aight, lets do the post for today. Anyway, had a fun day and I feel REALLY guilty. I needa go running tomorrow, sigh. Met the others (Jee Sing, Chiang Wee & Jee Sing's friend) at 1pm at Marina Bay station. Then played some games (which I'm kinda bad at co-ordination sorta, EMBARRASSING!!!) with Jane, Eileen, Jenn & Charmaine till Ivan came and we were ready to go. Oh, by the way, Eileen didn't do her forfeits! Then it was on ta kite flying. Nice. They went really high. And ate the first ice-cream. Nice too! Guilty conscience #1. :(

Started to rain a little, went indoors. Played Daytona, a speed racing game against Jane, Ivan & Charmaine. I came in third, last it on the last lap, damn! Lol. After that, we started to have the steamboat and barbeque at 5pm. Haha. Was fun, especially I learnt how to use the "proper" method of the bbq plate from the NP guys. Not too much butter and LOWER the temperature of the fire. Ate and ate and ate lots of stuff. It was good stuff. Barbequeing is nice and the herbal soup for the steamboat was good.

The a few others came (Tracy, Jessica & Marcus) while others had already left (Eileen, Ivan & Jee Sing's friend). So yeah, we had 2 tables then. And then ate second ice-cream (oh no!). Guilty conscience #2. Shucks! And we left to walk the 1 minute walk to the bus stop. Bus came at 2145 as said on the time table. Whoa! 4 and 1/2 hours of bbq and steamboat? 0_0 Er, yeah, and then when I came home I found I was at 68.5kg. Urgh! I need to exercise it off alright? Sigh. trust me to go and gorge on stuff. Bleah!

Tomorrow am meeting ZL, Gajan, Arisya and not sure, but maybe WJ at City Hall to discuss the class barbeque. Haha, this oughta be fun. On the other hand, I miss seeing Joel who will be coming over for lessons with mom (It still hurts to know she said, "Other people are more teachable than you." I'm not like everyone and everyone is not like me. I have my own learning style and well, why do you ALWAYS think yer right?).

Shout outs:
Dak & Dame: How was the weekend guys?
L: No computer time on Monday? Hmmm.... How's it goin' with Mr. You-know-who eh? ;)
SHP, YT: ILU&MUB! IMUVM!

Does he deserve it or doesn't he?

Ah, well, my pieces of chewing gum have dissapeared. I just found out someone has been stealing my gum. Arrrgh. Guess who? Dad! I kinda got "mini" mad with him yesterday. I don't mind him taking the Fruitella but the gum??? Oh man... And then he said he didn't know its gum and he swallowed it. HAHAHAHAHA! Does he deserve it or doesn't he? I guess he does. Next time ask before touching whatever is in the fridge! And for goodness sake, READ what you're eating. What if it was toxic if swallowed? What if it was some kind of nicotine gum? Come on, yer old enough to know la. I don't need to tell you to do all this kinda stuff. Ah well, what's done is done now. I want my gum!!! I didn't take all the trouble to smuggle it in for nought.

Today seems to be passing very slowly. Sigh. Gonna go out for the first time this holiday. To Marina Bay with the NP cell for kite flying (???!) and steam boat. Kite flying? Uh, O-KAY...

Never Gone, Never Far...

Song of today: Never Gone (Backstreet Boys)

The things we did
The things we said
Keep coming back to me and make me smile again
You showed me how, to face the truth
Everythings thats good in me I owe to you

Though the distance thats between us now may seem to be to far
It will never seperate us deep inside I know you are

Never Gone, never far in my heart is where you are
Always close, everyday, every step along the way
Even though for now we've got to say goodbye
I know you will be forever in my life (Yeah)
Never gone (no no no no no)

I walk alone, these empty streets
There is not a second you're not here with me
The love you gave, the grace you've shown
Will always give me strength and be my corner stone
So how you found a way to see the best I have in me
As long as time goes on, I swear to you that you will be

Never Gone, never far in my heart is where you are
Always close, everyday, every step along the way
Even though for now we've got to say goodbye
I know you will be forever in my life (Yeah)
Never gone (no no no no no)

If theres one thing I believe
I believe
I will see you somewhere down the road again
Chorus 2x

Sigh, this song... Alway, always, it stirs me. Entering dreamland, always when I hear it. Its kinda special, like a portal if you get me. Sigh... Never Gone, Never Far. Yer dreams are never far? I'd like to think so. Listening to this at times makes me feel better.

Aight, I'm not in the mood to blog right now. Out!

Awesome thanksgiving

Hey, just here to make a special note. Boner's doctor just told him that he's been declared in remission. I am so glad! That means that the symptoms are subsiding in layman terms. YES! LIVESTRONG indeed! It feels good knowing that people who face cancer are doing so well. Aunty Tina is doing great I think, she sounds much better now really. Boner is in remission. Maybe Aunty Tina will be too one day and hopefully Uncle Bob too. I am soooooooooooooooooo glad I just can't express it. Lol. A big shout out to Boner: Congrats man! Have an awesome thanksgiving, you need to celebrate.

Okay, I've said enough so shut up.

Hot, hot, hot day!

9 October 2005
Songs of the day: Politik & In my place [Coldplay]

Aight, I will admit it, I am still bein blown away by Coldplay’s album. So, I am gonna do a run through of all the songs on the CD and my view on ‘em.

Coldplay: A Rush Of Blood To The Head
Politik:
This song rocks. I’m glad they chose it for the opening track. A bit hard with the drumming, yet soft enough to get ya in the mood. It makes me think of things and how far away things can be. Essentially, a thinking song for me. Kinda reflective in a way.

In My Place: Another superb song. I like the beat they got goin in this one. I think this is a really cool track. One thing I really like is that twanging and the background music. Really really cool.

God Put A Smile On Your Face: Okay, why don’t I just admit it? All the songs have a nice beat. Lol. This one is okay. The words when sung to the beat of the song make for a good marriage. The chorus is good.

The Scientist: What can I say? I like Coldplay slow songs. This one blows me away a whole lot.

Clocks: The first Coldplay song I ever heard. Thanks to Sriram and Vaishi really. That’s when I started liking Coldplay. Without Clocks, Sriram and Vaishi, I dunno if I would’ve picked up this album.

Daylight: Vocals are excellent - haunting to a certain extent. Kinda different from their other songs in terms of music. Beat is like the rest with the drums as a constant.

Green Eyes: I kinda like the songs, its unique. Like, who sings about green eyes, lol. Personally, I like blue eyes for the record. This song is about a gal I think, a gal with green eyes. Heh.

Warning Sign: Well, well, Warning Sign. One of the nicest tracks on this album in my opinion. Very strong, especially before the first verse. Deep man. Listen to it, it moves ya.

A Whisper: Haha, if you expected this one to be a slow one, yer wrong. Nice guitar!

A Rush Of Blood To The Head: Another nice slow one. This one can make you dream if you’re just listening to the music.

Amsterdam: The piano bit is really nice. Its also a slow song, very nice indeed. Lyrics are cool too. I can just imagine this being given a stellar performance at an Idol competition.

So done with the Coldplay album. :D Haiz… That was cool. Today, so far its been good. Thanks for makin my day yo (you know who). Dad has been a bit on the annoying side today. Mom’s irritated by him and he seems hyper ‘n high. Lol.

OH, before I forget, HAPPY CANADIAN THANKSGIVING! Goin out to Ava, Boner and CB. :D

Today was also friggin hot. Phew! It was burning in the room and my mouth is all dry. Dehydration? Oh well.

Out!

Typing for the sake of typing...

Songs of today: The Scientist & Amsterdam (Coldplay)

I thought what the heck, I'm in blogger so might as well blog. Aight. Today was cool. This whole week has been. No stress, no anxieties, free... Relaxing (and I mean REALLY relaxing ;) ) and enjoying it as the days go by. (I dunno why I am in the mood for slow Colplay songs tonight.... I love my scientist. Okay, that was just random, but get the meaning yo. ;) )

Tonight I stayed out real late, had to take a cab back since the last bus home had already gone by. Wow, first time man! Haha, I'm weird. 0_0 Anyway, yeah. Its cool. Lol. I'm reallying typing nonsense. Uhm, slept most of the afternoon away. Coming to think of it, I suddenly feel hungry in the middle of the night. Eck! Nah, I shall continue feeling hungry.

I think I may have had some colic the past two weeks. Today didn't feel like it was there anymore, so that's good. I have been bearing with it and just seeing if it'd go away. Thank goodness it seems to. Thanks Uncle J, I think it was colic. I've had that ages ago. Right, y'all needed to know about me and colic right?

Uhm, yeah. I guess I can get back to running then. Lazy bum me had stopped for awhile. I need to work my body, yeah. Its kinda, uhm, well fed and I wanna change that. Lol. 65kg, 65kg... Soon.... I hope it will be soon at least. Mom says I shouldn't lose too much weight cause I wouldn't look nice. I dunno. I look better when I lost what I have and I dunno. I am targeting 65 first. I'll take it from there then. I keep thinking of, ah, nevermind. But yeah, best buddy has helped quite a bit. Thanks man. :D

Out!

Shout-outs:
Dak: Heyo, how's the working out then? Good? And hockey?
Dame: Did ya go for Flight Plan in the end? Hope you had a good time.
L: Ha, yer supposedly "easy" quiz seems harder than the "hard" quiz. At least in the "hard" quiz I got 70 and in the "easy" one I got 50. Like I told ya, I'm weird.
SHT, YT: ILUB!

Another day

Today is another nice day. Watched survivor. Brooke is out, oh well. I expected her to go further. Dang! There goes my Pick'em game points up. Not good. Lol. Yeah, episode was good. Nice new way to switcheroo everyone. Screwed a lot of them in the process. Everyone is uncertain, afraid. Come on Margie, penetrate the old Yaxha and get into that alliance. Judd, get out of the game. Okay, okay, PLEASE. What a gorilla you are! Cindy, get everyone together and get rid of Judd. If not, do yer best to win immunity. Amy, hang in there. Try swing Danni or something. Danni, good call. I think you still believe Gary was an ex-NFL.

I also cooked lunch today, spaghetti. Cool, it tasted good. Lol.

I don't know who is voted out yet although episode 4 has shown already in the USA. I just know some people are screwed during tribal switch up and Gary, Margie and, uh, I forgot the last one have it bad. Oh well, awesome. A few hours more till it is telecasted here. Damn, gotta cook lunch too.Oh well...

Great holiday

Album fo the day: A Rush Of Blood To The Head (Coldplay)

Man, this is one awesome album! I like all the tracks on this one. Makes ya wanna buy the other 2 (Parachute, I think, and X&Y). It starts with Politik, a very captivating track. Next is In My Place, also very good. The Scientist and Clocks are awesome. Ah well, I shan't go to lengths to name ALL the tracks, lol.

A bit of venting can turn things around so much? Interesting. You have no idea. Lol. ESP is kinda working crankily. Heheh. At least it is working. Lol. Going's good indeed. Oh, its less than 24 hours to Survivor! :D Haha. I missed the last episode, sigh... Oh well...

"But the truth is,
I miss you..."
Warning Sign is a really good song. I can get lost listening to Coldplay, lol. Oh well, today's been a great day. Kinda the best holiday for years. No assignments! Yeehaw!

Messed it up

Sigh. Why can't I be more patient? Why am I such a rushed person? Why isn't our ESP working? Dammit! Sigh. There's always tomorrow. I try to have a level, reasoning head, it just isn't working. I feel I am to blame. Sigh. Silly me. Impatient. WT*?! Yeah, that's how I feel right now. Shitty in the least. Sigh... Yer NOT to blame and I'm not gonna let ya say you are. Yer doing the right thing and I am proud of you like hell for doing it. I mean it man. Just, don't feel bad aight? I am feeling bad right now. Sigh. Life... Its complicated ain't it? Don't feel bad... Please? Man...... Arrrrrgh.

First class

Song of today: You're Beautiful (James Blunt)

I am back on the tiny, microscopic dot on the global map. Yes, I am back in Singapore after a week in Malaysia. It feels good to be reunited with my laptop. Anyway, yeah, I came back bus Nice++ (that's Nice Plus). Its sort of like airline first class on a bus. Haha. Coolness eh? I got on it cause mom bought the wrong tickets. No, didn't come hoem with her, came home on my own lah. I'm no baby no more. Haha. Yeah, back to the bus, it was nice lah. The service was good. Here's what they served:
1) Justea green tea with lemon
2) Chicken mushroom hot dog
3) Water
4) Choc n' Roll
5) Coffee/Tea
Sounds like a lot eh? I only touched the edibles, not the drinkables. ;) They finished the journey with hot towels from the microwave. Hmmm, it was nice. I had my own personal TV. Haha. Cool eh? It had 4 different channels. The movies we could watch were I Spy Returns, Killer: Journal of a murderer, G.I. Jane, Summer Vacation (or something like it, can't remember this is a Chinese movie). I had to go watch the lame I Spy Returns. *insert eye rolling here* It was so retro too. AH well...

Then there was the journey home. Quite complicated.
153 to Queensway.
198 to Commonwealth MRT.
MRT to Buona Vista.
74 to home.
I could have just taken 153 and then 196. But the bloody 196 was taking so long and I needed to use the MRT facilities (get what I mean???).

Haiz, enough rambling. Let's do the shout outs.

Shout outs:
DMC1A05: Hey, BBQ's coming! Hooyah! Its gonna be awesome, hope the weather is good. Thanks to the organising committee.
Dak: Heyo bud. How're ya? Doin great I hope.

Fano: Back in town Dr. Mom. Look for for 'Freak.

Galavanting?

hey all, have been busy today. Uhm, since 11 I have more or less been out of the house. Made a special trip to Central market to get stuff for the class. Well, I'll leave it to DMC05 to appreciate it if they want lah, haha. Uhm, okay, I last updated on friday. So here's whatever happened.

Saturday: What DID we do? uh.... Shopping at Mid-Valley. But L, Duane and I decided to chill the one-and-a-half hours at the Coffee bean. I had the banana caramel ice-blended. It was awesome and L had her usual CB ice-blended. *wink* i think that is about it actually... And apparently, some stuff happened that I didn't know about. My uncle got mad and left the house at 5am. It appears I was the only one who didn't wake up at that point of time. Geez, must've been out cold!

Sunday: Went to change the ticket after much deliberation "You're beautifu" by James Blunt playing in my head all the while. Uhm, L and Duane made me do it. Lol. Ah well, I needed the time with them after all. And yes, i tried to egt mom embarassed by buying a ckae to celebrate her on-coming birthday and get her to sing the dreaded tradition of "I say thank you". Unfortunately, everythign went well, except i forgot she had to sing the song and so did everyone else. Cake was good, chocolate banana. I chose it myself too, haha. HEY! I spent my birthday money on mom's birthday. Wahahaha... that's, uh, teh lame me....

Monday: Sent mom off. came home and had little cosmos sleep on the mattress next to me. That was so cool, I actually got him to sleep next to me! i want a Chi like him! Lol. And Aunty Ivy was searching high and low for him all the while he was next to me. Lol. Sorry Aunty!

tuesday: Here I am, after galavanting all over most of KL. Sorry Nic, didn't go to Bukit Bintang or Sungei Wang thsi time round. BUT I did get everyone keychains from teh Central market. It's personalised okay? And the lady, I dunno how, figured See Jun likes green. haha.

Well, enough rambling! Shut up! Bye.
